The editor for the 2011 edition of Analecta is Terrie Phillips. Terrie is a student in IU South Bend’s School of the Arts, where her major is Mass Communications with concentration in Journalism. When she graduates in May 2011, she will also have earned a Minor in Creative Writing, a Certificate in Professional Writing, and a Certificate in International Studies. She has worked at The Preface as a writer (2009-10) and as a Student News Editor (2006-07). Currently she is a Campus Tour Guide and is applying to graduate school programs in Communications and English. She is in the process of creating an Analecta Blog where students can find updated information about submissions and the production schedule.

42 Miles Press Poetry AwardThe submissions period for the 42 Miles Press Poetry Award is December 1 - March 1 annually. The award for a full-length poetry manuscript includes a $1,000 dollar prize and publication by 42 Miles Press. Carrie Oeding's OUR LIST OF SOLUTIONS and Erica Bernheim's THE MIMIC SEA are our first winners.
